Hide it in a hiding place where no one ever goes,
Put it in your pantry with your cupcakes,
It's a little secret, just the Robinson's affair,
Most of all, you've got to hide it from the kids.
--Simon and Garfunkel, "Mrs. Robinson"
Alaemon is the second demon in Hell to be named Demon Prince of Secrets. (Appropriately, it took centuries to figure out what happened to the first one.) A former Servitor of Litheroy, the Impudite Prince sees himself as the master villain to the Archangel's Great Detective, encouraging conspiracy and paranoia wherever he goes.
Alaemon's Word encourages not just secrets, but the need for secrets; suspicion, insecurity and self-hatred all serve him just fine. His servants are masters at evidence destruction and blackmail, however, they can never go a day without hiding something of value. Don't look for a straight answer from them, either; they will never give a direct answer to a direct question and always hold something back if they can.
Relations with Other SuperiorsEdit
Alaemon doesn't trust any Prince enough to form a long-term alliance, though he does have some useful partnerships of the moment. Asmodeus, Beleth, Malphas, Valefor and Vapula all reinforce his Word nicely. He doesn't have much use for the destructive (and brutally direct) Belial and Saminga, however.
